Judge
Ricky Simmons
Ricky Simmons was named the Municipal
Court Judge in February of 2007. Simmons served the citizens of Newton
for 27 years as the Police Chief. During is tenure has Chief the Police
department was very active in all aspect of the City operations and in the
community. Ricky is very active in the community serving as the Newton
County Fair president for many years and the Go Texan Committee. Since being name the
Judge, Simmons has implement a Municipal court software program to track
court cases and has improve tremendously the efficiency of the
court. |
